Well, first of all: Merry Christmas and a very very very Happy and Succesful New Year!
I know I've been M.I.A. recently, but I do have a better reason for it than the sole fact of it being yuletide. I totally failed History (of Spain) and Art History this trimester, which is a realy big bummer, specially since my average grade is 8.5 to 10 out of 10 and since I moved to Spain last year, I've dropped... a considerable amount, I don't think I'll even get a chance to get a full scholarship for Uni... but anyways, I could gon on about this forever and ever and ever, but then I'd be just like The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
But even If my parents cut me off internet for the holidays (not officially, but i'd get the 'contempt look' if they'd catch me at it, and believe me when I say that wlogging on a Palm isn't cool), I feel kinda better now, the new year has given me new hopes, that's the reason for the title of this post (who of you got the reference?).
I've missed two posts and this one's comming in a bit late, so I'll make up for it and type... A LOT.
Speaking (typeing) about 'A lot' remindes me that I'm helping my little sister with her english lessons, she's the only one of us who was born in an english-speaking country (Florida, USA), but we moved back to Venezuela before she started to speak, so she's also the only one of us that doesn't speak english, but she's learning. She'll be reading Harry Potter and becoming a Nerdfighter in no time! :D
On to holiday news, I got an awsome new Pablo Neruda agenda (he's an amazing latin poet, this is my favorite poem of his link), a cool pair of shoes and a new adition to my stuffed and/or furry family : he's an orange ball-shaped mouse, and his name is 'Chad the cheedar cheese ball' :D
I wanna know all of your Birthdays so I can add them to my agenda, I already know a few.
On that note, NINA: Happy Belated Birthday! I'd have congratulated you before, but, I came to know like five minutes ago.
ODETTE: The boy in the stripped pijamas, Quidditch through the ages and amazing beasts and where to find them... 3/9, did I get any right?
New phone?: wich model?
I heart Muppeteers! Seriously, everything Jim Henso in awsome (or Hogsome).
THERE'S TWIROCK?!
CH: Skype is cool :) I'll tell you when I get a new headset, and Slytherin socks rock!
Yay, Jingle Spells 2! How is it?
FRANKEE: How's your recovery coming on? I'm sending you virtual chiken soup! (or do you like another kind?) Yay, new camera! Many Pretty Pictures Please!
NINA (again): Snow storm?! wow, I barely got a bit of really watery snow once or twice. Sorry, I can't exchange you my day, 'couse I barely make it either, but how about you post on SATURDAYS? that way I can even make myself post on deadline.
I am now totally and madly addicted to Kyle XY, do any of you guys watch it? and for that matter do you watch Supernatural? I'm a die-hard fan :D
Q & A
Do you write fanfic? If so, where? What is it about?
I read a lot (I'm addicted, but not in denile), but I haven't written any... I should.
Do you think making a book 8 to deal with the next generation of kids (Rose, James, Teddy etc...) would be overkill on the series?
Definitely... Maybe.
What HP related stuff do you want to do in 2009?
Get a full-fledged Slytherin uniform... Go to a Wrock Concert, write a few HP related songs...
What is your favorite era of Fanfic to read? (Marauders, Trio, or Kids)
Trio, mostly. I do read the others ocasionally.
Have you ever given someone a Harry Potter related Christmas present?
Hmmm... Nope. should though.
What would be the coolest ride that you would want to be in the theme park?
An uber-amazing rollercoaster ride.
Goodbye, Cya soon and DFTBA!
