[6/9/09] In which Odette is worried...

I am worried for multiple reasons.

First, final exam in French today and I should be studying now, but alas, I like you guys more. But this is my last French exam of my high school career!

Second, this blog. I am the only one to post in three weeks. It is a little hard to convince people to join when it is only I. I know you two will return. But the reason I am pushing very hard right now for new people is because on the 21st I leave to be a Consular in Training at my camp. I will be gone for about four weeks. I am just worried what will happen here in those four weeks. I do not what to return and have two posts to read when I come back. I was going to wait to tell you all this until after we had two new people but I wanted to share it now. We have one interested person:

Name: Georgie
Location: UK
Age: 18
Email: gnridgway@hotmail.co.uk
House: Gryffindor
Day of preference: Wednesday

So if we pick Georgie, Katie, you can move to House of Awesome. Let me know what you think. I may message you guys on FB.

Today is my last day of 10th grade! I am really excited! It has been a decent year but I am looking forward to this summer and next year.

This Friday a whole bunch of my friends are coming over and we are having a pool party to celebrate the end of the year! It will be a ton of fun!

Now I must be a good little Ravenclaw and study,

[6/2/09] In which Odette has very little time to write this...

Very sleepy this may not make much sense.

I woke up late today.

Today is the awards assembly for my grade.

I am getting some award.

I have to look nice.

Tomorrow my theater exam is due.

In that exam, I talk about you guys.

It is about my life with out HP

I put out a post on the ning for two more people.

No one has responded.

I have to edit my movie trailer for History tonight.

It is called "Mr. Candy Bomber"

It is about a guy who dropped candy to little kids during the Berlin Airlift.

Dissections in Biology. Need I say more?

That is pretty much my life right now.

[5/19/09] In which Odette was literally trampled yesterday

First I have to explain something else because I have to explain the irony of it all! We are currently having SOL (Stupid Standardized Test) testing which means class periods need to be longer so people have a chance of finishing within the period. If you don't finish within the period, you have to stay after, which is not bad, just a pain in the butt to the school. So we only have three classes a day now. They also switch them around and such. so my schedule has been:
  • 5/12-Theater, Math, History
  • 5/13-English, French, Mass Comm
  • 5/14-Math, History, Biology
  • 5/15-French, Mass Comm, English
  • THE WEEKEND!
  • 5/18-History, Biology, Theater
If you will notice, I had not had Theater since Tuesday. I was very very very very very very excited about having it again because, let's face it Theater is FANTASTIC! So I was really excited. We had to do this thing were we listened to a piece of music and we had to preform a scene to the music. Our skit was awesome! I was the leader of this group going on an epic quest only we get caught in a storm. A traitor pulled me aside and killed me. So I had an awesome death scene. The group paid their respects and then went to avenge my death. But since the piece was rather short, they had to leave my body there. In the middle of the battle to avenge my death, two of the girls slipped on my hair and fell all over me and it was really really bad. My scalp is really tender. Yesterday I had a massive headache the rest of the day and my shoulder hurts.

I am recovering though.

That is my story for this week.

Ron Yay for the boy. Boo for him going away. I wish you could come and poke the people to their senses as well. Have you ever considered school would be much better if it were all nerdfighters? Everyone would be much nicer to each other I think.

Your Ravenclaw,
Odette

I don't know what to name this.

Helloooooo! Sorry I haven't blogged here for a few weeks, it's been kind of...aah. But May isn't as tough as I thought it'd be. I have my last Maths exam tomorrow, and I don't have school on Thursday and Friday. Yay! Although it's stressing me out since, if I count the days I'll be in school before June 3rd, there's only 9 school days left before the guy I have a crush on graduates. We're finally on hello terms and have talked a bit the past few weeks (we're now friends on facebook and we sat next to each other on the bus once. mwih.), but I feel like something needs to happen. Gaaah.

This summer, I vow to do this:
- Read. Mostly in Swedish.
- Make music. Both wizard and muggle.
- Prepare for Canada.
- Have an awesome time at Expecto Patronum 2009.
- Try to hang out less at the interwebz and more with people irl, since I won't be in Sweden for long.
- Write.
- Come up with an idea for NaNoWriMo 2009.
- Try to rewrite my NaNoWriMo from 2008.
- Go to Gothenburg for another wrock show.
- Not spend too much money.
- Make more videos on youtube.
- Make a book with veggie recipes (in English).

Odette! Sounds like an awesome French project :'D sorry about the jerks at your school. I wish I could go there and poke them to their senses.

Kate! Breathe and sleep. Sleep is made of awesome.

Hope everyone is doing awesome <3

[5/12/09] In which Odette thinks the high schoolers in her grade need to get over themselves...

Yes, that is right, the people in my grade are being stupid faces and should just learn to get over things in life, including themselves. On Friday, I accidentally hit a girl with a fly swatter. I tossed it to her and she did not catch it. She was hit in the eye. Apparently she was "blinded for 48 hours" I apologized and asked if she was okay while she ignored me. But I continued to because I felt bad. Yesterday, I overhear her in my Mass Comm class holding court with about 15 people or more. She is telling the story and making me look like a jerkface. So generally when people pick on me in school, I can ignore it because I am not friends with them but I used to be friends with this girl so this is tough. My mom was utterly unhelpful and told me I was at fault for the way I apologize which even if that is so, can this girl not get over it?

Sorry, really not in a great mood and I needed to get it out.

The thing is I know a lot of people do not like me in Mass Comm because I am too smart or my emotions are too big or I am weird but really do they have to do things like this?

Sorry I did not post last week but things got crazy because I was finishing up my Health and PE class and the days did not feel like days. They were just masses of time. I really do not even remember Tuesday.

This week and next week is SOL week. SOLs are stupid standardized tests that we have to take. Since theses tests take so long our schedule is weird. Today I have Theater for 3 hours! I am very excited about that then Math and then History for 3 hours in which we will be taking the SOL. I did not study for the SOL because I am that big of a History nerd. I read my textbook for pleasure reading. I also got a 101 on the reveiw and my team won the reveiw game 68 to 28 about. So I am not too worried.

At my school, after a show, the cast members sign posters for each other. I finally took mine down yesterday and I felt so loved! The messages were all ridiculously sweet. One of them said "I bearly know you but you are a really talented actress and I will miss you" That was probably my favorite because it was a senoir techie who I had never talked to. Someone *cough* my ex *cough* did write a message though that really he should have picked his words more carefully and has kind of ticked me off but I am getting over that.

My sister is moving home this week. I am not happy about that.

I am really sorry I am in a ranting/pissy mood. I will try to do better for the rest of the post.

Kate: I hope finals are going/went well. You have 14 very noble goals.

  1. Work at camp
  2. Read more
  3. Get a firewire
  4. and make videos for Youtube
  5. Get decently along with my sister
  6. See the Harry Potter movie way too many times to be considered sane
  7. Learn how to make some delicous food
  8. Get to at least the 3rd stripe on my Ravenclaw scarf
  9. Finish my NaNoWriMo novel
  10. Go to at least wrock concert with my friend Sarah
  11. Blog more on DoaNEG
  12. Finish my FanFic series
That's all.

Barely an update or Summer soon!

I'm tired.
I'm very, very, very.... very tired.
I'm still in finals and it's cray, I just want it all to end, but end well of course.
I've been feeling crappy all day, alergies and all...
It's my body's way of telling me that I have a crappy sleeping cycle which consists of going to bes at like ... 11:30, listening to podcasts 'till about 1:25 and waking up at 7:05.
God, I'm messed up right now.
I used to 'not-sleep' for fun, but now it's like a very bad habbit.

In other news, as soon as the second week of June conmes around and I'm all finnished with friggin highschool, I vow to do these things:
1. Sleep from 10pm 'till 9am
2. Catch up on my nerdfighter and 5awesomeyafans profile pages
3. Make a minimum of 3 nerdbuddies for 10 days straight (and diminish it to at least 1 nerdbuddy a day the rest of the summer).
4. Start learning norwegian and ontinue my french and itallian courses
5. Read all the Planetary Comic books I can get my hands on
6. Finish Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby
7. Review at least a book a day for a month on my Reader in the rye blog.
8. Actually do an english version for my Reader in the Rye blog (the original's in spanish)
9. Paint all my nails black
10. Watch seasons 1-4 of Supernatural while doing cross-stitch (it's this quirky thing I do).
11. Go on a month long fruit diet to detox my body of 2 years of deepfried, chocolate-smotherd, honey-coated Spanish pastries.
12. Finish all the digital art I've started
13. Finish writing all the short stories and novels I've started.
14. Organize the hell out of my digital music library

So Fantastic Nerbuddies,
What are you're 12 or more summer resolutions?

TTFN!

[4/28/09] In which Odette is no longer a Slutty Professor...:(

That's right, ladies, Our Town is over. This really makes me very sad because it was so much fun to work on! If you want to know all about last week, see here. That explains the Slutty Professor thing too.

Tomorrow we are doing his French project where we had to choose something to report news on. I chose Wrock news because I am a NERD! I am talking about Whompy's upcoming tours and the Wizard Rock People's Choice Awards and New Albums (Including an album that I am buying in the near future All You Need is (Wizard) Love). I am going to wear different wrock tshirts each time I change a topic. And because I do not own a Ravenclaw tie nor do I have time to buy one, I am borrowing my friend's Gryffindor tie. I will be changing where I place the tie in each shot as well. My background is going to consist of pictures of different Wizard Rockers and I think I am going to include a picture of Solitary Snape just for you Ch! It will be great fun!

FYI my Ex-BF was a bit a jerk about somethings (like saying somethings that were mean about me to others) so I continued to ignore him. But then last Wednesday we had a talk and we are good again. I am still slightly upset with him but we are speaking like before we dated again. So that is good!

I think it is time to discuss a replacement Wednesday and Thursday. I think they have been swallowed up by the dark abyss and I wish we had the opportunity to get to know them but if they have disappeared I think we should get to know other people, ya know? Thoughts?

Ron: I am a fan of the Stockholm Starfighters on FB! You will now be the quidditch team that I support! Two of my friends are OBSSESSED with Doctor Who. They have both tried to get me to watch it and I just have had no time.

Your Ravenclaw,
Odette

Monday!

I'm sorry I didn't post a blog last week. I don't know what happened. I think I just had a lot of school work.
I started watching Doctor Who last week. I really like it, except now I'm on season 2 and I liked Christopher Eccleton as the Doctor way more than David Tennant. I guess I'll have to get used to it though.

As for school, upcoming is The Month Of Doom. May is packed with tests and stuff, it'll probably go by in no time. Then in June, a lot of nice people graduate from my school (including cute guy I talked nerd with), which is said. And a week later I have to say goodbye to the people I've hung out with every day for the past year since I'm going to Canada in the fall. It will be sad. But I think I'll bring cookies.

Today, one of my friends randomly said that he'd been bored last week and watched all the Brotherhood 2.0-videos. And another one of my friends is watching all the Vlogbrothers videos, but for some reason he's very reluctant to call himself a nerdfighter.

Also, me and a couple of friends started a Quiddicth team! It's called Stockholm Starfighters and it's an all girl team :D I'm the Seeker. Me and a bunch of friends practice Quiddicth two times a week now, although I've missed two out of three :/ I'll try to go to the one on Wednesday, since I won't be able to go to the one on Sunday, because I'm going to the south of Sweden to celebrate my grandfathers birthday.

Kate! Yay, you're back! :D What's that about Norway? How cool!

Odette! I hope all those theater things go awesome, and that your ex doesn't bother you in any shape or form. And yay for getting to see a wrock show!

[4/21/09] In which Odette is having trouble keeping her eyes open...

That's right ladies and gentlemen, last night was the first night in a series of nights that can only be Show Week. Last night I left rehearsal around 10 pm. I had spent about 4 and 1/2 hours there.

Tomorrow, I am going on a field trip to the National Holocaust Museum. I am really excited about it because I am a huge History nerd and one of my favorite time periods to learn about is WWII. Unfortunately because the museum is so far away I will probably not be back by call time (the time when we need to be there to do costume, make up, etc.) Meaning that day I am going to leave my house around 6:25 am and get home anywhere from 10 pm to 11:pm.

Then we open! So those shows will be epic! Some of my friends are coming to see me! And one of my friends who is coming I never get to see! So I am super excited!

Now I cannot do anymore because I have a French test i have to go study for.

Your Ravenclaw,
Odette

Scribbling Frenzy!

EUREKA!
I have discovered calligraphy!
Ok, not really, but since I was a little girl, I always wanted to have a classic quill and ink set to write letters and stuff.
10 YEARS LATER...
I'm an art student and I'm always going to art supply shops, trying to find the cheapest prices and good material, and I I always see those fancy ink and pen sets on display that cost waaaaaaaay to much, but the other day I asked if they have individual pens and nibs... AND THEY DID!
and guess what?
THEY'RE NOT EXPENSIVE! THEY're FREAKING AFFORDABLE :D
So, a bottle of ink and a half-dozen nibs later...
I'm addicted, I plan to buy more nibs tomorrow and Turquoise, Purple and Red ink as soon as I can :D
Although books are another issue, those are a bit expensive, but thank God for the internet, and expertvillage.com :D

I'll update pics of my work this week!

Toodles!
Kate

P.S.: I LOVE YOU GUYS! IT'S SO GOOD TO BE BACK :D

[4/14/09] In which Odette discusses her break, going back, wrock, and the Theater

Hey guys! I had a very awesome spring break in which I did a whole lot of nothing but at the same time a lot.
  • I went shopping and got a ton of new clothes which I needed.
  • I got my hair cut. (It had been five months)
  • I, mostly, got my two rooms cleaned up.
  • I got a whole chapter ahead on my history worksheets.
  • But mostly, I sat around and did nothing...
Back to school today though. Everyone has been asking me how I will be with going back to see my ex-boyfriend and honestly I don't know. I wish I could avoid him forever but unfortunately he is in the one class I have everyday and we are both in Our Town (in fact his character is the only character I interact with). But since I know I cannot do that, I am just trying to be okay with it.

Speaking of Our Town.

Today through Thursday I have rehearsal till 5. Then on Friday it is till 4. Then we have Saturday rehearsal which is likely to be about 5 hours. Then the next week, show week, everyday I have to be at school at 5 in the afternoon. So if I do not post next week, it is because the world of Theater demands I sleep.

The Whomping Willows, JFF & the Sugar Quills, and The Moaning Myrtles announced their summer tour! And, on a Saturday, they are going to be in Vienna, Virginia! I am so excited! My friend Sarah and I are going to go as long as the parents let us! But we are super excited! Here is the video from last time we went to Vienna (The ride up not the concert):

Kate Your back! Yaaaay! (Or to use an Our Town word KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Long story) I'm not going to prom anymore. I'm a sophomore so I have to have an older date to be able to go. College in Norway! That sounds really neat! There is this college locally that if I go I can also spend two years at the University of Scotland and get a degree from both which I really want to do. And thanks that Nerdfighter is out there I know. And i love the tags

Ron Gothenburg looks like it was fun! Rest up!

Odette

Post awesome.

Hi. I'm very tired today, so I guess I won't say much, just show pictures and videos from Gothenburg. I've only uploaded one video, but if I upload more I'll show you next week ^^

The Swedish Shortsnouts play The Snape Song at the soundcheck.

The road trip was awesome. There was a lot of TP playing at the place we stayed at. Things were generally awesome and I should have done this earlier since I'm incredibly tired and word is that my father is watching Philosopher's Stone.

I'm really sorry but I don't have the energy for this :/// I think I'll try to do a bonus thingy in a few days.

Bye <3

Will the door shut in my face?

I know I've been gone way too long.

I feel very guilty, I'm a horrible person, I'm going to get the worst blogger of the year award, only it's not going to be a shiny medal, more like a crappy yellow sticky note.
When I signed up to do this proyect, I did it with all mythe enthusiasm I had (have) in my heart, I just missed one not-so-teeny-tiny crusial point: I'M A SENIOR.
And boy has high school cought up with me, or more like slapped me in the face.
I've been eating pretty badly, I'm not getting as much sleep as I should be and get depressed anywhere from 5min to 3hours about 4 times a week, so... yeah.
I dind't want to be posting in a blue mood every friday and transmit that to you, which I realize I'm doing that now, but at least I'll be once and not... say, five times.
That said, there seems to be a vagely bright spot ahead: after easter break, I only have about 4 weeks of school 'till graduation, and I say vagely becouse even though highschool will finally come to an end, a) a trimester of class, school work and examas condensed in 4weeks does not sound appealing and b) I still have to do Selectivity, which are like LSAT's, only there's one huge exam per high school class i've taken, so... 7 exams in 3 days. W00t! - NOT.

I know, I know...
I'm being overly scenic and Little Miss Black Cloud, but I guess I needit to vent a bit (and believe me when I say that 'this ' is just 'a bit').

In GOOD NEWS: After June, I'll be a free bird off to university (hopefully Graphic Design).
Oh and Ron, guess who'll be moving closer to you?
If all goes as planed (and it will), I'll be going to university in *Drumroll* NORWAY! Yay!
Now, all I have to do is learn norwegian, piece of cake :D
Oh, and Ron: most days I assure you I preffer phisycs to half the art-related classes I'm taking (I used to be a science mayor, I switched).

CATCHING UP:
*Odette: I'm happy you got snow in Virginia, I hope you enjoyed it. John's books ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN SPAIN, that sucks, couse even if I can read them in english, I can't find them anywhere :( I looooooved your french class future :D Teddy and his blue hair make me *smirk*
And I'm sorry about your fingers incident, hope they're healing right. Prom... I've never thoght much about it becouse in latin america, the don't do prom (you get a graduation party, but without the king and queen and all the boo-hah!) and here In spain, not even that. But I hope you have na awsome time and of course wear a Ravenclaw scarf with your dress :D
Hey, I did caritas too years ago, it was great :D And reading about your Happening, made me happy and sad. Happy becouse I'm glad you had an awesome time, and sad becouse I couldn't attend to my last retret with my confirmation group for financial matters :( And also, moving to Norway means leaveing my group, and they're great (although I'm the oldest), which sucks!
And think about it this way, out there in the vast world, there is an amazing nerdfighter head over heels for you, you just have to meet him when the time is right :) Chin up!

*Ron: CANADA, W00t! No braces, W00t! Gothenburg, Woot!
I'me very happy you have all these things going on :D Take my advice, enjoy every single day of it, couse later on, you won't want it to end :) Can I hear some of Solitary Snape on the web? I'd really like to. And Canada, tell all, please! What are you ging to do there (besides study)?????
Soooooo, cute guy, huh? *brow wiggle* The day I can talk about H2G2 and nerdyness in general with a guy... well, *sigh* I'll be singing 'La vie en rose' a lot XD I'm happy for you! OMG, YES! I tell all my friends tha same dark side has cookies line every time I try to get them to join Slytherin (couse you should know by now, My being a Griffyndor is all a pose! Bwahahahaha I'm a wolf in sheeps clothing :D *bares cute fangs*
Falafel, yum! Oxford, England? yay, Wrockaversary!

SIDE NOTES: I'm going to be emailing you guys throughout the month to catch up and generaly get to know you more, becouse what little I know now, I love :) Ron, do you have twitter? if so, my screen name is MARACUCHA (it's my demonym [I totally wikapedia-ed that word]). I hope you can find forgiveness in your hearts for me and my long absence, I'll try to do my best.

And thus concludes this entry of biblical proportions, I'm not doing questions today in fear of suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome. I'm now off to have breakfast and catch a Ron-a-thon (marathon of Ron's youtube videos) and go read Odette's blog :)

Oh, One more thing (there's more?! - YES!)
I have a profile in www.fiveawesomeyafans.ning.com, I invite you to join :)
And I recomend this song and this one.

Best wishes and love you guys to death,
Kate

*check out the lables XD

[4/7/09] In which Odette is on Spring Break

So the biggest news is that my boyfriend broke up with me. He did it for stupid reasons like he felt guilty every time he was around me because he is a senior and I am a sophomore so I cannot date someone I could be with longer. He is just being dumb. Luckily I have all of Spring Break to get over it but I won't know if I am over it until I see him again.

Last weekend was Blackstone. It was a lot of fun. I was a co-Small Group Leader but everyone kind of forgot about the other kid. It was amazing I love all the people there so much!

I am doing BEDA/NaBloPoMo. I think on Tuesdays I will do Hogwarts 2.0 day where I post this because I really do not have time to post twice a day.

Ron I haven't had Kit Kat Bars in forever! They are quite delicious! Sounds like you quite a nice day. Yay for the anniversary of the first wrock show in Sweden!

Odette

General awesomeness.

Hiiiii! This is going to be kind of short because I'm doing BEDA (not VEDA, I changed my mind :P) and I haven't written today's post yet. Also, I think I'm giving up on Script Frenzy. I'm just not motivated. Besides, if I would make it, I would feel like I could buy a Script Frenzy-travel mug (I already have a NaNoWriMo one), but I can't really afford that. So yeah. That's my reason for not completing Script Frenzy.

If you'd like to read my blog, here it is: http://maureenjohnson.ning.com/profiles/blog/list?user=1yds1j4fmxq64

The reason I'm doing this kind of late, even though it's Easter Break and no obligations, is because I met up with JoJo, a friend who I met while I was in Oxford last summer. It was really nice, we walked around my hoods and then we went to Felinos, a pizzeria which serves the best falafel ever, and apparently makes awesome pizza as well. The word nice was repeated frequently, and we even had Peanutbutter Kit Kat, a really awesome chocolate bar I haven't eaten since we were in Oxford.
I just came home from following him to the bus stop, and now I'm enjoying a nice cup of tea.

I can't believe it's only a few days before I go to Gothenburg! It's gonna be so much fun!!!! I'll be sure to post pictures and videos here next week. I can't wait!!!!

Odette! Sounds like you're having a really awesome time, I'm glad!
But I have the cookies, they should come to me and blog! Ah, maybe they're allergic ;o

And I can't think of a question either...

(Btw, yesterday was exactly one year since the first wrock show in Sweden!)

Your Slytherin,
Ron

[3/30/09] In which Odette says "Give Yourself to Love"

My weekend was FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Happening is one of the most spiritual and moving experiences of my life every time I go. This time was better than last time I staffed and even better than my OWN Happening! I staffed again and I was a secret small group leader. On Sundays there is this foot washing and we get Bibles and that experience changed our group. There are so many thoughts about Happening that there is no way I could get them all in. So I am going to change topics sort of.

This next weekend I am going to Blackstone which is run by the same people but it is not a heavy as Happening. But this means I get to see all the people from last weekend again! I am very excited despite the fact that I will have accumulated even less sleep. (Yesterday I fell asleep five times during my Biology class, and we had a major test!)

I am thinking about doing NaBloPoMo In April. I think It would be fun and My Diary of a Nerdfighting Episcopalian Girl is slightly lonely. I am still thinking about it. I may wait until May because April is rather busy.

The play is coming together really nicely. We are off book and we have most of the scenery (which is not much because of how Thornton Wilder wrote it)

The other play, last Friday's was Okay. I think we could have used a more dedicated cast but in the end it worked out okay.

Ron: I wonder where the others went. It is kind of weird. But I enjoy blogging with you so its not too bad but I do wish we would hear from the others... It is always those dang cookies that get them! Curse you, cookies! Curse you!

I am really too tired to think of a question.

Your Ravenclaw,
Odette

Monday ftw!! :D

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii wlogpeople, it's Mondaaaaay! I really like Mondays.

Sooo. Today has been really good because I didn't have any boring lessons (even Swedish was okay), and then something exciting happened!! *overly excited*
See, I don't have to go to my English lessons because I don't get anything out of being there so I might as well do other stuff. I usually sit at a table in a corridor close to where my class has English and work or read. Also, the guy I have a really big crush on has a lesson there at the same time so that's nice. When his class ended he stood out there for a while with his friends and then he asked me about my NaNoWriMo mug and we talked about tea and then he asked me about the book I was reading (Paper Towns, although I wasn't really reading it, just looking at the things I though was exeptionally awesome). So then we talked about H2G2 (Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy). Mwih. It was nice.

After that, I hung out with my friends in the computer hall. I was mad at my friends for not having read DH. And people looked at me weird. It was fun.

Yesterday I rehearsed with Solitary Snape. I didn't think it was possible, but I'm even more excited for it than I was last week. It's just a little more than a week left! I just hope I can find somewhere in Gothenburg with free WiFi (shouldn't be too hard, I just need to get there) so I can post videos. I think I'm going to participate in the "Vlog Every Day April"-challange. And Script Frenzy. And then there's probably a bunch of NP's ("Nationella Prov", or National Tests) in April. I don't think I have to do the English one though. But still. April's gonna be a busy month! If you'd like to see me vlog, here's my youtube channel: http://youtube.com/huvudpain

Me and my friends (those who haven't read DH!!!) were talking about Hogwarts houses the other day. Me and Arvid are pretty set on our houses (Slytherin and Ravenclaw) but Jonas wasn't sure. I said that he should join me and Slytherin and they were like "You're trying to lure me into the Dark Side!" and I said "Yeah, come and join me. I have cookies", and that's true because I do have cookies. My crush likes my cookies hah.

Odette! Ahh, it seems to be only us left...so how are you? I hope the play thing went well. I'm sure it did! And yay for speaking up for Harry Potter!

I'm going to Canada because I've wanted to since I was twelve, basically x)

Do you think Harry Potter is just for fangirls? Of course I don't. Harry Potter is for everyone! :D

Hm, I don't know what to write. I guess I need to get back to my squeee'ing over this day. Heh.

Hugs on you all!
Ron

[3/2?/09] In which Odette says "Harry Potter is not just for fangirls!"

This girl in my first period said "I don't like Twilight, its just for fangirls. Harry Potter is too" At this point I turned around and said "Harry Potter is not just for fangirls!"
Her: Yes it is
Me: No its not. I am heavily involved in the Harry Potter Fandom. And it is not only for fangirls!
H: Well yes it is.
M: If you aren't involved in the fandom, you cannot say things like that because you would know it is wrong!
H: I spend a lot of time on the Internet. How do you know what I know?
M: You wouldn't say things like that, if you knew the fandom.
H: Ya know? This is our conversation and you just turned around and joined it. *She tries to kick me out because she is losing!*
M: Sorry I felt the need to defend my fandom. *Turned around*

It was interesting...

Oh I have another Harry Potter related story but it is mini. We were being given notes for Our Town. Th director said to me, " You need to be more officious...You love this stuff and someone has invited you to speak on it! Okay?" One of my cast members said "Pretend it is Harry Potter"

The one act in my first period, Murder in the Knife room. Is going to be preformed this friday! I am nervous because some people don't know their lines still. I just keep breathing and telling myself it will be okay.

This weekend I am going to Happening. (My favorite of the retreats I go on) One of the things we have to do is write Caritas. Caritas is some sort of note or gift or something that everyone gets and it is amazing. They let it in with these balloons tied to giant bags and the giant bags are filled with Caritas! Since I have to have this done by Friday I am fervently working to complete all the personal letters I am writing. Yesterday I was writing Caritas and I started to cry. It is a very emotional thing for me. (Good kind of crying don't worry) Two more time that day I had to stop working on Caritas because I was about to cry. So I had to stop. I think tomorrow I am going to shut myself in my room and just write and cry and write and cry and write and cry and write and cry.

Ron! You are alive! YaY! You made me want to go to a wrock concert! I haven't been to one since last summer! Tell me about Canada! Why are you going ad such! Being in a play is a lot of fun but it is also a lot of work. I think it is an experience that everyone should have at least once in their life. Prom is weeks away though. I have yet to get a dress but I will post pictures when I do! Yes I think we should talk more! I love talking to people! Talking is good!

Do you think Harry Potter is just for fangirls?
Well as you can see from above, no. I do think we do have fangirls though. Not only of Harry Potter, though, I totally fangirled Alex Carpenter last July....

Your Ravenclaw,
Odette

Awesooooome.

I'm so sorry for not posting last week :( I've been very busy though. A couple of weeks ago I found out that I was getting rid of my braces, and a few months ago they said I'd have to keep them until this fall, so I decided to postpone my year in Canada, but because I don't have braces anymore I'm going to Canada this fall. I'm really excited about it because I've wanted to do this since I was twelve, and if I go this year I still get to go to school with the people I go to school with now when I come back. If that makes any sense. I go to the “gymnasium” (kind of like high school), which is for three years, and I'm in my first year. My year in Canada doesn't count, so I have to do my second year when I come back, when my friends are doing their third year. If I'd gone next year they would have already graduated when I did my second year, which wouldn't have been much fun. I love those people, so <3 Plus, the election in Sweden is in 2010, and I would have missed that if I'd gone next year. I won't be 18 then, but I still want to make sure my friends vote.

Aah, I could talk about Canada all day. But I won't, since you probably aren't interested, and I have a headache xO and it snowed tonight, which is soooooo notsome since it was all springy and I was excited and now I'm just depressed about the weather again :(

I'm also pretty excited because I don't have a lot in school at the moment, which is always nice. I'm trying to get around to things I don't have time for otherwise, like writing. I got a nice little idea this weekend which I'm gonna try to get out of my head.

Yesterday I rehearsed with Solitary Snape. We only have to Sundays left before we're playing in Gothenburg! I'm so excited for the trip down there, since it's gonna be filled with wizard rockers and Dreaner's mom (who apparently wants to hear some wrap...), and to see The Halfblood Princess live for the first time, and to see The Swedish Shortsnouts again. They are so awesome. I think I creeped them out by fangirling them last time xD

I was at an HP book discussion last week, and it was awesome! We talked HP for three hours, and Siri, a friend I haven't seen for more than two years was there, and we invited her to come along to Gothenburg :DD

Odette! I want to hug you for still posting here even if the rest of us fail heartbreakingly. Sorry :(
It sounds like so much fun to do a play! I want to do it too! I've been listening to the Wicked soundtrack a lot lately, and it makes me want to do a musical ;o and sorry about your fingers :/
I hope you have fun at Prom :D
Also, I feel like we should talk more!

Who do you think the father of Helena Ravenclaw is? I don't know...Salazar seems good though!

Anywhoooooo I hope you all are having a wonderful week wherever you are :P

DFTBA!
Monday Slytherin Ron.

[3/17/09] In which Odette is alone.

No one posted since last Tuesday. This make me sad.

Today we are running the first act (the only act I have lines) OFF BOOK! (To non-thespians: We have to say our lines without using the script.) I am fairly decent but I could use some work so today will be a challenge.

This past weekend was PreHap. We prepared for a retreat that will take place in two weeks. It was amazing and very powerful. I am still incredibly tired though. Yesterday I started about five stories and then had to stop because I forgot the ending. Hopefully that will be better today.

So my boyfriend asked me to go to Prom with him. I do not really care that much about going but he really wants to so I am going for him. Now I did not run home immediately and tell my parents and when I told my dad he was horrified that I had not told him and my mom yet. I did not think it was that big of a deal especially because my step mom already assumed we were going to go. But whatever.

I am not going to do a question since no one is here.
